　　程虹，经济学博士、教授、博士生导师。现为武汉大学质量发展战略研究院院长、宏观质量管理湖北省协同创新中心主任、武汉大学中国企业调查数据中心主任，CSSCI期刊《宏观质量研究》主编；美国斯坦福大学、香港科技大学访问学者。

　　程虹教授是湖北省人民政府咨询委员会委员、武汉市人民政府参事、武汉市人民政府决策咨询委员会委员、国家制造强国建设战略咨询委员会质量专委会委员、住建部科学技术委员会工程质量安全专业委员会委员、国家网络市场监管专家委员会委员、南方电网公司专家委员会委员等。

　　程虹教授是国家社科基金重大招标项目、教育部重大攻关项目首席专家。主要从事经济高质量发展、区域经济发展战略、竞争政策与营商环境、供应链与创新增长等领域的科学研究。

　　程虹教授主持并联合中国社会科白姐全年正版王中王等机构，持续开展了广东、江苏、湖北、四川、吉林等省份的“中国企业综合调查（CEGS）”项目，成为该领域目前全球最大、最成功的学术调查。

　　程虹教授主要基于一手企业调查所获得的数据，形成了多篇智库成果报告，获得党和国家领导人、省部级领导作出重要批示并采纳应用。

　　在全球经济学期刊排名前五的《经济展望杂志》（Journal of Economic Perspectives）、《经济研究》等国内外优秀期刊上发表论文一百余篇，多篇论文被《新华文摘》《中国社会科学文摘》《高等白姐全年正版王中王文科学术文摘》和人大复印报刊资料系列等全文转载，出版《制度变迁的周期理论——一个一般理论及对中国经济改革的研究》《质量创新与中国经济发展》等专著十余部。

Hong Cheng, Professor and Doctoral Supervisor, Ph.D. in Economics, now works as Dean of Institute of Quality Development Strategy in Wuhan University, Director of Macro-quality Management Collaborative Innovation Center in Hubei Province, Counselor of Wuhan Municipal Government, Director of China Enterprise Survey and Data Center, and Chief Editor of Journal of Macro-quality Research (CSSCI Expanded). He is also Visiting Scholar of Stanford University and Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.

Professor Hong Cheng has been devoting himself to government think-tank support as Member of Advisory Committee of Hubei Provincial Government, Member of National Manufacturing Strategy Advisory Committee and Member of Network and Market Regulation Advisory Committee

Professor Cheng also plays an important role in social memberships. He serves as chief expert of Major Tender Projects of National Social Science Fund as well as Major Research Projects of the Ministry of Education. He has been working on both theoretical and empirical research on a wide range of areas including economic and high-quality development of Hubei Province, entrepreneurship and innovation growth, competition policy and business environment.

Professor Cheng has successfully launched and continuously been working on China Employer-Employee Survey (CEES) with Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. CEES is the world’s ever-largest-in-scale and most successful academic survey in the related areas.

Based on first-had enterprise survey data and research results, a number of think-tank reports have been worked out through Professor Hong Cheng unceasing research efforts, and were widely appreciated and adopted with important instructions by Central government leaders including Premier of State Council Li Keqiang, and provincial leaders including Provincial Governor Wang Xiaodong.

Over 100 research papers on the topics mentioned have been published in the leading academic journals both in China and Abroad. A batch of papers and research results have been reproduced in full page by Xinhua Digest, Journal of Chinese Social Sciences, China University Academic Abstracts and Journal Duplicates Center of Remin University of China. His academic works and publications including Quality Innovation and China Economic Development and Cycle theory of institutional change: A general theory and research on China's economic reform are well received and widely quoted in China.
